The Solitary Symphony: Why Creativity Thrives in Solitude (and mostly struggles)

I wrote this quote several years ago when I was living in a shared accommodation for working professionals. The accommodation was a big three floor independent house, where each room was divided into smaller shared living spaces. The people who shared the rooms, were frequently changing and it was a complete chaos. I used to read and write quite a lot in those days and despite my demanding work schedule, managed to continue doing the same. Although, the longer I stayed in that accommodation, my creative spark dialled down further. It was a noisy environment, where I never managed to find the right wavelength to have any conversation beyond small talks. The resulted in further reducing my reading and writing flow, as it was always being interrupted by one or the other person. I could definitely move to any other place and live on my own, but there were some circumstances, which stopped me from doing so. The end result is the quote in the above image.

If you are a creative person, the world works different for you than any other person. The symphony created with a thousand creative voices, each weaving a unique melody into the tapestry of existence, is what you want to hear. But for many of us, those voices are born in the quiet, in the hushed corners where solitude reigns.
